The E-Newsletter of the National Center on Elder Abuse Wrap-Up Edition As we close out the 2014-2017 funding cycle for the NCEA at the
Keck School of Medicine of USC, we extend our deepest thanks to all those who have helped us move the field of elder abuse forward the past 3 years. Through our many partnerships we have disseminated research, provided training, identified promising practices and interventions, and provided subject matter expertise on elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation. We are especially grateful for all the individuals who reached out to us to share their stories and request information and resources. We could not have served these individuals without the help of our national partners and
advisory board members whose input and collaboration were essential in creating diverse educational and training materials. Click the buttons and images below to access NCEA materials |
Thank you to our national partners! |

What steps can be taken to safeguard information?: Elder Abuse Research Review This Research Review lists the latest primary and secondary literature related to elder abuse in the United States that was published during the NCEA grant cycle at USC (September 2014 - August 2017). While more research is needed to shed light on the prevalence,
risk prevention, and detection of elder abuse, the NCEA is dedicated to disseminating peer-reviewed research as it is published to highlight what is known and identify gaps to inform policy and practice in the field.
